These gems are what I look for on hikes. I can’t help myself? I always find the weird stuff, but it takes my mind off the fact that I can’t breathe and laughter is as good for me as the hike! Right? Right! 👍
My cat “Charlie” got a dog bed for Thanksgiving so we can go into food coma together, but I’m not going to let him know it’s really for dogs. It would crush his ego.
Can you see the cute little bird/sparrow living in the roses!? Charlie doesnt know birds are supposed to be his enemy, so we all live harmoniously together. That bird had the coolest light green fohawk! 😄💜💕
I want to try to make an arch like this out of all my pruned branches this year! Add some lights…..trinkets…..I’ll probably end up getting slapped in the face every time I try to bend and secure one of these branches, but what the hell! I’m going to build it and friends will come and be merry! I think I can do it, I would rather make a round hive-ish thing, but maybe I can add onto it next winter and eventually end up with a reading cave!
Oh, if my 20-year-old self could hear me now……ROFL
I did the California tourist thing today and went to the big ocean boob they call “Morro Rock” in Morro Bay. You aren’t missing much. There is a huge power plant that blocks any chance of a beautiful view and it’s really just a big ol’ rock/volcanic dome plug “tit” in the middle of the sea. It sure looks different up close though, it IS massive and the beach around Morro Rock had a lot of neat seashells! (That was unexpected and you know what I put them in? A PLASTIC BAG Jerry Brown- more on that later.) I liked Cayucos much better though, it’s only four miles North and has awesome beach swings and better views!
The cigarette butt trashcan signs crack me up!
